The bathroom is tiny, they are bumping elbows and bickering like an old married couple, and every time she leans toward the mirror the camera gets an eyeful. If you want to understand why a whole generation fell for Adriana La Cerva, start here. Christopher is slumped in his leather chair, smoke curling up from his cigarette, sulking about his screenplay. Adriana is not having it. She comes out in a lavender bra and matching panties and starts dancing for him in the middle of the apartment, hips going, arms up, then throws a robe over her shoulders like a showgirl cape and flashes it open. He barely looks up, which is the funniest and saddest part of the scene. Any man in New Jersey would have dropped that script on the floor.
The Red Dress Comes Off, Then She Waits on the Bed (0:40)
Old-school Adriana, with the big honey hair and the red mini dress. Christopher paces the bedroom in his red jacket, ranting about something, and she slips behind the closet door and peels the dress down, bare back to the camera. By the time he turns around she is in a little black top and gold panties, laughing and pulling him in, and the clip ends with her stretched face down across the bed in a black slip with her bottom on show. This is the version of Ade the fans still post about twenty-five years later.

A short one, but I love it. Morning light through the blinds, Christopher asleep under the blue comforter, and Adriana getting up in a thin white tank and a thong, no bra under that top at all. She stands by the window for a moment, then changes her mind, crawls back under the covers and curls up against him. Thirteen seconds that feel like a real couple on a lazy morning, before everything in their lives went wrong.

Adriana strips down by the bedside lamp while Christopher stands in the doorway staring at her. She takes off her top, bends to the dresser in a black bra and panties, then straightens up and fixes her hair with both arms in the air, completely aware of the effect she is having. It is dark, warm and over far too quickly, and his face says everything.
Pillow Talk in a Burgundy Bra (0:41)
Adriana lies back on the blue sheets in a deep burgundy lace bra, her stomach bare and her curls all over the pillow, while Christopher, propped up beside her in his vest, talks and smokes. She is teasing him, rolling her eyes, laughing at his plans. It is one of the most relaxed and sexy moments the two of them ever got on the show, and I stop the clip before the night turns ugly, because that part is not something to enjoy.
On the Phone With the Friend Who Is Really FBI (0:23)
This is the season where it all starts closing in on Adriana. Her new best friend Danielle, played by Lola Glaudini, is actually an undercover FBI agent, and here the two of them are on the phone like any two girlfriends. Danielle wanders around her bedroom in a lilac bra, and Adriana sits in her bathroom in a black slip, shaving her legs and gossiping. Two beautiful women in their underwear, and one of them is building a case. It is sexy and it makes my stomach turn at the same time.

Adriana comes home late, still in her black boots and denim mini, pulls her top off and stands there in a bright red bra with her long hair falling over her shoulders. She digs through a drawer, then sits on the edge of the bed, and the camera just lets us look. There is no man in this scene and she is not performing for anyone, which is exactly why it is one of the hottest Adriana moments in the whole series.
Ironing in a Blue Crop Top and Hot Pants (1:10)
Season 5 is the season that won Drea her Emmy, and the first episode gives us this. Adriana is ironing in a tiny turquoise crop top zipped low and matching hot pants, cleavage and bare stomach lit by one lamp, while Christopher gets dressed for the night in his suit by the fish tank. Neither of them says much, but you can feel how far apart they have drifted. He comes over for a kiss before he goes, and she lets him, and then she stands there alone again. In Prey for Rock & Roll Drea plays Tracy, one of the girls in Gina Gershon’s struggling L.A. rock band, and this is the band at its happiest. 2026: Ultrafree podcast and a memoir deal
In February 2026 Drea launched The Ultrafree Podcast, unscripted talks with artists and independent thinkers, built out of the streetwear line she started in 2023. The same month, Page Six reported she had signed with Simon & Schuster to write a memoir covering her New York upbringing, the Sopranos years and the career that followed.
Nonnas on Netflix (2025)
She turned up in the 2025 Netflix comedy Nonnas alongside Vince Vaughn, Susan Sarandon and Lorraine Bracco, playing Stella in a story about a New York restaurant staffed by Italian grandmothers. It was a warm, low-stakes return to Italian-American comedy after years of heavier TV work.
The Emmy that still defines her
In 2004 she won the Primetime Emmy for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series for Adriana on The Sopranos, and picked up a Golden Globe nomination the same year.
