Carey Mulligan nude in Shame (2011), shower argument with Michael Fassbender (1:06). 7 more scenes, then photos below.
Carey Mulligan built a career on sharp, adult roles — An Education, Drive, Shame, Promising Young Woman, Maestro. The Carey Mulligan nude scenes people actually search for are mostly in Shame and And When Did You Last See Your Father?, with quieter outdoor nudity in Mudbound and sexy (not nude) beats in Promising Young Woman and Drive. This Scandal Planet hub puts 8 of those clips in one place, each with its length in the heading. Only adult roles. We skipped An Education because the character is written as a schoolgirl.

Carey Mulligan Nude in Shame (2011)
Steve McQueen directed. Carey plays Sissy Sullivan opposite Michael Fassbender. She has said the shower nudity felt right for the character — someone who wants to be seen. Full frontal in a white-tiled bathroom, then a towel. That is the Carey Mulligan nude scene most searches land on.
Nude Shower Argument (1:06)
Steve McQueen’s Shame. Carey as Sissy stands fully nude in a glass shower while Brandon (Michael Fassbender) storms in and they shout at each other across the white-tiled bathroom. Full frontal, then she wraps a towel. The scene most people search for.
Carey Mulligan Nude in And When Did You Last See Your Father? (2007)
An early film role. Carey walks into a warm bedroom in a sheer blue nightgown and lifts it over her head. Breasts clear in the lamp light. Two cuts of the same beat are below — the longer master and a tighter half-minute.
Sheer Blue Nightgown, Then Bare (2:01)
Carey walks into a warm bedroom in a sheer blue nightgown, stops at the foot of the bed, and lifts it over her head. Breasts clear in the lamp light — her first major nude beat on film, years before Shame.
Nightgown Lift — Short Cut (0:29)
Same Father scene, tighter cut: the sheer blue nightgown comes up and the camera stays on her bare chest and back for half a minute.
Carey Mulligan in Mudbound (2017)
Dee Rees’s Netflix drama. Carey as Laura McAllan on a Mississippi farm. An outdoor bucket shower at dusk and a bare-back beat between hanging sheets — rural, quiet, no full frontal.
Outdoor Bucket Shower (0:31)
Dee Rees’s Mudbound. Carey washes under a perforated metal can on a Mississippi farm at dusk — wet short hair, bare shoulders and back, muddy ground, hanging sheets. No full frontal, but the outdoor shower is the one Mudbound fans clip.
Bare Back Between the Sheets (0:21)
Same farm. Carey stands between white linens on a clothesline, bare from the waist up, back to camera, while someone watches through the fabric. Quiet, rural, and unmistakably her.
Carey Mulligan in Promising Young Woman (2020)
Emerald Fennell’s revenge comedy. Carey as Cassie, blonde for the role. The bed scene with Bo Burnham is underwear and open shirt — no full nudity. The red-booth club pose opens the movie.
Unbuttoned Shirt in Bed with Bo Burnham (0:39)
Emerald Fennell’s Promising Young Woman. Carey as Cassie, blonde bun, white shirt open under a black blazer, Christmas lights on the headboard, Bo Burnham between her legs. Underwear sex scene — no full nudity, but the heat is real.
Red Booth, Short Skirt (0:04)
Cassie alone in a curved red leather booth — navy blazer, short skirt, white shirt, heels, bag on the floor. The club pose that opens the movie. No nudity; pure Promising Young Woman energy.
Carey Mulligan in Drive (2011)
Nicolas Winding Refn. The elevator kiss with Ryan Gosling is soft and iconic — no nudity, still one of the sexiest thirty seconds she has on film.
Elevator Kiss (0:32)
Nicolas Winding Refn’s Drive. Carey and Ryan Gosling in a dim elevator, blue shirt and quilted jacket, the slow kiss under a warm wall lamp. Soft, iconic, no nudity — still one of the sexiest thirty seconds of her career.

Is Carey Mulligan nude in Shame?
Yes. She stands fully nude in a glass shower during an argument with Michael Fassbender, then wraps a towel. She has said in interviews she was not uncomfortable with it because it fit the character.
Is Carey Mulligan nude in Promising Young Woman?
No full nudity. There is an underwear/open-shirt sex scene with Bo Burnham and the red-booth club pose. Both are on this page.
Is Carey Mulligan nude in Drive?
No. The elevator kiss with Ryan Gosling is soft and fully clothed — still one of her most searched sexy scenes.
Why is An Education not on this page?
The character Jenny is written as a schoolgirl. Even though Mulligan was an adult actress, we do not use underage-character framing here.
