A post claiming Madonna, 68, dumped a “Nigerian boyfriend” for being bad in bed and is now dating a 20-year-old has pulled close to a million views on X. Scandal Planet could not find any interview, Instagram post or on-record statement behind it, and the latest reporting still places her with her boyfriend of two years, Akeem Morris, 30.

What the viral post claims
On 28 October 2026 the Turkish account @hypeonhaber posted two images saying that Madonna had left her “Nigerian boyfriend” because he was bad in bed, that her new boyfriend is 20, that she feels “like a newborn baby” with him, and that the two go hiking and horse riding together. The post gives no source for any of these lines.
The same story was already circulating in English. On 27 October gossip sites USARite and LipGists ran a version with a 21-year-old and a Jamaican ex. In their own articles, both sites say the sighting, the man’s identity, the breakup and the bedroom quote “have not been independently verified.”
What we could verify
- There is no on-record quote. We found nothing from Madonna, her Instagram or her representatives that matches the “bad in bed”, “20-year-old” or “newborn baby” lines. Treat them as unverified.
- The details don’t match her real boyfriend. Akeem Morris is a former soccer player and coach from Spanish Town, Jamaica, not Nigeria (Nieuwsblad, Daily Mail).
- Nobody has confirmed a split. Sina Entertainment reported on 29 October that neither Madonna nor Morris has confirmed a breakup, and that the rumour comes only from tabloids and social-media posts (Sina).
- They were together a month ago. On 28 September The Mirror US reported that the couple left the Chateau Marmont together for a VMAs afterparty (The Mirror US). In August, Morris joined her 68th-birthday trip to Corfu (The Daily Beast, W Magazine).
Madonna and Akeem Morris: the real timeline
The pair first met in August 2022, when Morris was cast in Madonna’s Paper magazine cover shoot. They didn’t start dating until summer 2024, and Madonna went Instagram-official with Fourth of July photos (The Daily Beast). Daily Mail reported a quiet split in late October 2024, based on an unnamed source (Daily Mail). They were back together within weeks, sparked engagement rumours with a diamond ring in early 2025, and returned to the London rooftop of her first UK photoshoot that April (Daily Mail).
In 2026 they walked the Met Gala together in May, celebrated her birthday in Greece in August and were photographed together after the VMAs in late September. There are 38 years between them. According to Nieuwsblad (21 September), the relationship is solid but marriage is “a no-go” for Madonna.
What she actually posted this week
The real Madonna headline this week is a lingerie shoot. On 27 October she posted an 18-photo Instagram carousel for her new Boy Smells candle collaboration, with two $48 candles called Like a Prayer and Confessions. She posed pantsless in a black leather coat, corset and fishnets, then in a lilac corset and sheer top, and captioned it “Mes péchés sont mon sauveur” (“My sins are my savior”) (The Daily Beast, InStyle, Just Jared). The Like a Prayer candle carries a previously unseen 1989 Herb Ritts portrait that she picked herself (MadonnaTribe).
Why the rumour spread so fast
Madonna has dated much younger men for years, including dancer Brahim Zaibat, model Kevin Sampaio, dancer Ahlamalik Williams and model Andrew Darnell, so a “20-year-old boyfriend” claim sounds believable to many people. Believable isn’t the same as true, though. Until Madonna, Morris or a named source says otherwise, the quote circulating on X is unverified. If that changes, we’ll update this story.
