The singer, 45, posted a low-lit selfie from a stone bathtub to Instagram on Wednesday, Oct. 28, with her platinum hair swept over half of her face and the emojis covering her nipples. Her caption: “last looks before xtinaween” (Daily Mail, Hello!).
On X, the photo took off overnight. A repost by the 2000s nostalgia account PopCulture2000s, captioned simply “OMG CHRISTINA AGUILERA”, passed 130,000 views and 6,600 likes within about nine hours (PopCulture2000s on X). It landed the same day Pop Base marked 24 years since her album Stripped (Pop Base on X), the record that gave us the “Dirrty” era.

Fans flooded the comments. “That wasn’t an earthquake, it was just me falling to my knees,” one wrote, according to the Daily Mail. Others called her “an icon” and wrote “Xtina is ON FIRE”, while one joked: “Me after four martinis in the hotel bathroom.”
Not every reply was a compliment. Korea’s Chosun Biz noted comments worrying that she looks “thinner than in her prime”, part of the ongoing chatter about her weight loss, which the outlet puts at about 22 kg (50 pounds).
Xtinaween is a tradition
Aguilera usually saves her big swing for Halloween night itself.
