On Monday, Oct. 26, Megan Fox, 40, posted a candlelit Halloween photo shoot on Instagram: a sheer white lace dress layered over a burgundy bra and matching thong, a cross choker, black taper candles everywhere and a cigarette lit straight from the flame. Her caption: “Who’s going to be the Bella to my Edward?” The post passed 1.5 million likes, OK! reports, and by Tuesday she was in the comments herself, setting a critic straight about her business.

What happened
The carousel has seven slides, according to ComingSoon, which counted 1.3 million likes and 9,000 comments in its first 10 hours. InStyle describes the look as a sheer lace dress over a burgundy bra and thong, with a statement cross choker, a deep red lip and hip-length waves. theFashionSpot (via AOL) adds the low, plunging neckline and a black manicure.
The caption flips the Twilight romance. In the films, Edward Cullen (Robert Pattinson) is the vampire and Bella Swan (Kristen Stewart) is the human who falls for him. Megan made herself Edward and left the Bella role open, and her fans auditioned in the comments: “As if you could outrun me…” and “I can be the Alice to your Bella,” OK! reports.

The candles are on Instagram. The real thing is on her Scandal Planet hub: “Jennifer’s Body,” “Passion Play,” “Subservience,” “This Is 40” and “Transformers,” all on one page.
Slide by slide: what she wears in the shoot
- The dress: loose white lace, completely sheer through the bodice, with a deep plunging neckline, per theFashionSpot.
- Underneath: a burgundy lace bra and matching thong (InStyle). OK! calls it maroon, theFashionSpot calls it red. It’s the same set, and it’s the detail every headline picked.
- The jewelry: a cross choker at her throat. That’s the vampire joke in one accessory.
- Beauty: a deep red lip, soft smoky eyes, long black nails and her hip-length hair in loose waves.
- The set: clusters of lit black taper candles, candelabras and a patterned rug. She sits cross-legged among the flames in one shot and leans in to light a cigarette from a candle in another. The last slide is a red-tinted collage of the shoot, ComingSoon notes.
What we don’t know: Megan hasn’t named a photographer or a designer for the dress, so we’re describing it, not crediting it.
Her own answer to the “OnlyFans” comment
Under the post, one commenter wrote: “Never thought Megan Fox would have ‘OnlyFans’.” Megan answered personally, in the third person: “She doesn’t. She’s an owner of a subscription based social platform,” LADbible reports.
That’s accurate. On Oct. 9 she became a co-owner of Subs.com, the platform co-founded by OnlyFans co-founder Tim Stokely, and opened her own page there, which crashed on launch day, as we covered here. According to LADbible, her page costs $19.99 a month, and her own disclaimer sets the rules: “I’m not here to be disrespected or have sexually explicit conversations.” The lingerie posts on Instagram are the shop window. The subscription is the store, and she owns part of the mall.
She’s played the monster before: a Megan Fox Halloween watchlist
The comments are full of “she was born to play a vampire.” She’s already done it, more than once:
- Jennifer’s Body (2009): the cult horror film from writer Diablo Cody and director Karyn Kusama. Megan is Jennifer, a high-school cheerleader possessed by a demon who feeds on boys, with Amanda Seyfried as her best friend Needy. Their kiss is the film’s most famous scene.
- Night Teeth (2021): the Netflix vampire thriller, where Megan and Sydney Sweeney play Grace and Eva, two vampire bosses, in a short but memorable cameo, Decider reported at the time.
- Mortal Kombat 1 (2023): she voices Nitara, the game’s winged vampire fighter, and the trailer showed her in the recording booth.
Why this post landed so hard
Timing, mostly. It went up five days before Halloween, it plays on a franchise a whole generation grew up on, and it comes during the busiest business month of her career: the Ro Sparks campaign in early October, the Subs.com launch on Oct. 9, and a steady run of lingerie and bikini posts since, LADbible notes. Fan reposts on X carried it further: one account’s post of the photos passed 420,000 views, and a Megan Fox fan account’s passed 320,000.
It also answers the gossip without saying a word. Last week TMZ sources said she was single and “unbothered” by Machine Gun Kelly and Dakota Johnson. She hasn’t spoken about her love life. This week she posted a casting call.
