Kylie Jenner is selling winter coats, and in the new ads she’s wearing a coat, a pair of heels and absolutely nothing else. Her clothing label Khy posted the campaign for its “After Dark” winter collection on Instagram on Oct. 24 and 25, and by Monday the shots were all over the Daily Mail, InStyle and The Sun. The collection goes on sale today, Tuesday, Oct. 27. Kylie Jenner, 29, shot it at night in the hills above Los Angeles, nine days after her $50 million Fantasy Bra walk at the Victoria’s Secret show.

I’m Nico Grey. I make adult films, I run NicoGrey.com and Scandal Planet, and I keep a few investment, crypto and AI companies busy on the side. So when a founder sells a winter coat by wearing nothing under it, I read it as marketing first. Here’s every look, what’s actually in the drop and roughly what it will cost.

What happened

Khy opened the campaign on Oct. 24 with an Instagram post captioned “khy after dark. a love letter to LA nights.” The next day it followed with a second post, written in the first person: “there’s something about LA at night that i’ve always loved. the lights, the energy, the way the city feels after dark.” That second post passed 114,000 likes. Entertainment Now reports Kylie shared the images on her own Instagram as well as the brand’s.

In the photos that took off, she wears a cropped black jacket with brown faux-fur trim and black heels, with no pants or underwear, and in others she’s naked under a long black coat, InStyle reports. The Daily Mail adds that she smokes a cigarette in some of the shots. The photographer was Quentin de Briey, with the city lights below her, according to ELLE, which had the first look at the collection on Oct. 22.

Khy posted the campaign on its own Instagram on Oct. 24 and Oct. 25, ELLE had the first look on Oct. 22, and Complex Style and the Daily Mail shared the shots on X. These are the posts themselves, embedded from the accounts that published them.

Nico GreyNICO’S TAKE

Kylie, this is the most honest product shot of the year: a winter coat, sold by a woman who clearly isn’t cold. Nine days ago you wore a $50 million bra for Victoria’s Secret. Today you’re telling the world a cropped jacket and a pair of heels count as an outfit. I respect it. I’ve pitched investors with less.

Timothée, she’s up in the Hollywood Hills at night in fur trim and stilettos, and a Page Six source said last week you’re “not there yet”? Bold strategy, my friend.

Khy, free advice from a guy who sells desire for a living: put a price on the coat and keep the woman priceless. Want to see how far Kylie usually goes? Her hub has the rest →

Look by look: what she wears in the After Dark shots

  • The cropped jacket: black, with brown faux fur in stripes down each sleeve and around the collar and hems. It stops just above her bottom, and she wears it with black heels and her hair in a slicked-back bun. Her arm does the censoring, Entertainment Now notes. This is the look the headlines are about.
  • The long black coat: floor-length, worn open over nothing, so it’s all legs as she walks.
  • The cigarette shots: a few frames have her smoking in the coat, which is the detail the Daily Mail picked up first.
  • The setting: the hills above L.A. at night, the city glittering below, shot by Quentin de Briey. The brand’s own line for it: “KHY turns down the lights.”

What’s confirmed and what isn’t: the photos, the caption lines, the photographer and the Oct. 27 date all come from Khy and ELLE. Product names for the two coats in the viral shots haven’t been published yet, so we’re describing them, not naming them.

What’s actually in the drop

ELLE says After Dark is a 16-piece collection: sculpted coats, plush faux-fur accents, oversized bombers, knitwear and animal prints. The one piece named so far is the Marmont Sculpted Coat, which ELLE showed in a photo Kylie took herself. HOLR Magazine, going through ELLE’s preview, also spotted a hooded knit with relaxed jeans and a textured cardigan worn with shorts, so it isn’t all evening wear.

The press release, quoted by ELLE, describes the customer as “a woman for whom getting dressed is an occasion in itself, and she is always the main character.”

When it drops, and what it will cost

  • Date: today, Tuesday, Oct. 27, on khy.com. When we checked the site this morning, it still said “arriving 10.27” and gave no time.
  • Time: not announced. As a guide only, Kylie’s last launch, Kylie Cosmetics’ Winter Kissed collection on Oct. 21, went live at 9 a.m. PT, she posted on X. 9 a.m. PT is noon in New York, 4 p.m. in London and 11 p.m. in Bangkok.
  • Prices: not published yet. For a rough idea, Khy’s current faux-fur pieces on its site are $278 for the Signature Faux Fur Jacket and $398 for the Signature Faux Fur Coat. Those are existing pieces, not After Dark prices.

Nine days, three launches

Look at the calendar. On Oct. 18 Kylie made her Victoria’s Secret runway debut in the $50 million Fantasy Bra, the first non-Angel ever to wear it, as we covered here. On Oct. 21 she launched Kylie Cosmetics’ limited Winter Kissed holiday collection. Now it’s Khy’s turn, while everyone is still talking about the runway.

Khy launched in fall 2023. Its first drop in 2023 was 12 faux-leather and nylon pieces made with the Berlin label Namilia, and it passed $1 million in sales in its first hour, Entertainment Now reports. In an April 2026 interview with ELLE, Kylie talked about turning it into a permanent, wardrobe-first label, HOLR notes. A 16-piece winter collection led by coats is what that looks like.

What to watch next

The launch itself: whether the two coats from the viral shots sell out, and what they actually cost. Then whether Kylie wears After Dark out in public over Halloween weekend, which is usually how her pieces get a second wave. We’ll update this page with the real prices once Khy posts them.
