I’ve been behind the camera since 2001 and shot more than 2,000 scenes, and I’ll tell you the oldest trick in the book: put a girl next to a fast car and the scene shoots itself. JENNIE knows it. For Halloween 2026 she turned up at Kendall Jenner’s party as Suki from 2 Fast 2 Furious, in hot-pink leather chaps cut open at the hips and a purple crop top, and then posed against a red sports car.
JENNIE’s Halloween costume in 2026 was Suki, the pink-everything street racer Devon Aoki played in 2 Fast 2 Furious (2003). The BLACKPINK star wore it to Kendall Jenner’s Halloween birthday party at Bar Marmont in Los Angeles on Friday, Oct. 30 (Becoming, Free Press Journal). The look: a purple crop top, hot-pink leather chaps, a chunky belt with a statement buckle and a matching mini bag. Her hair was long and light brown, like Aoki’s in the film (allkpop).
She was seen arriving with Charli XCX (allkpop, Fashion Times), and the arrival photos went everywhere. One post of them on X passed 4 million views. The next day, director Aidan Zamiri put photos of JENNIE with Charli XCX and rapper Central Cee on his Instagram story (Mediafine).

- The chaps: hot-pink leather, laced at the sides and cut open at the hips, with a flash of black underneath. Indonesian outlet Kucantik reports they were custom lambskin belted chaps by designer Michael Ngo, who called the project a dream come true (Kucantik).
- The top: a purple crop top with a pink trim, leaving her whole stomach out (Fashion Times).
- The belt: chunky, with an oversized statement buckle sitting low on her hips (Becoming).
- The bag: a matching purple mini bag. Kucantik, citing a fan styles account, says it was a Kiko Kostadinov bag (Kucantik).
- The styling: stylist Sam Woolf, per Kucantik. Her hair was long, straight and light brown (allkpop).
Nico’s take: built for speed
Here’s what most people miss about Suki. In 2003 she was the one girl racer in a movie full of men and engines, and she stole every shot she was in. Pink car, pink chaps, a racer’s stare.
JENNIE gets it. Chaps are the sexiest piece of clothing ever made because of what they don’t cover. Leather down the legs, nothing at the hips, and a belt buckle that pulls your eye exactly where it wants. Then she leans on a red sports car like she’s on a set.
My take: most guests dressed up as a character. JENNIE dressed up as a poster, the one every car-show crowd of 2003 remembers, and now she owns it.

One more thing from my side of the camera. This is a pop star dressing like a film star, and she has done the film part too. In 2023 she played Dyanne, the backup dancer with a plan of her own, in HBO’s The Idol, and she sang on “One of the Girls” with The Weeknd and Lily-Rose Depp. My bet, not news: with a costume this sharp, someone in Hollywood is going to offer her a real racing movie.
Who wore Suki before her?
JENNIE isn’t the first star to go there. Rihanna channeled Suki for Fenty Beauty in 2019 (Becoming). The original look came from costume designer Sanja Hays, who dressed the Fast & Furious movies from the first one in 2001 through Furious 7 (Becoming). In the film, Suki races a custom hot-pink Honda S2000 through Miami and jumps a drawbridge in the opening race.
