Fifty-five, separated from Will since 2016, and apparently making out with a TikToker half her age on a Maldives beach? That was the pitch. On October 28 an X account posted two beach photos with the line “55 years old Jada smith was spotted with a TikTok creator in his 20s at a beach in Maldives sharing a kiss, is she not married to Will Smith?” It pulled in almost 1.9 million views, 4,600 likes and nearly 1,500 replies in a day. I love a messy Jada headline as much as anyone, so I actually checked it. Short version: the photos don’t prove what the post says, and the account that posted it calls itself satire.

- Who posted it: @t_al0n, whose X bio reads “satirical celebrities gossip account.”
- Confirmed by press? No. I found nothing from People, Page Six, TMZ, E! News or the Daily Mail, and X’s own trend summaries call the images “unverified.”
- The TikTok creator: never named, not by the post and not by anyone in the replies who could back it up.
- The solo bikini photo: an old paparazzi shot, not a new Maldives photo. It comes from the same beach set as a white-bikini surfboard photo that was already going around on October 25. In it she has long braided hair, while she has kept her head shaved since 2021 because of alopecia.
- The “kiss” photo: taken from behind and heavily blurred, so you can’t see either face. It has the same beach, boats and cars as the solo shot, which makes it a recycled or edited frame, not proof of a new romance.
- “Maldives”: the background shows steep green hills. The Maldives is a chain of flat coral islands with no hills like that.
- Jada and Will: still legally married. They have been separated since 2016, which she revealed in October 2023.

The Viral Post
The post went up on October 28, 2026 at 11:29 UTC (6:29 PM in Bangkok) from @t_al0n, an account with about 15,600 followers and over 124,000 posts. It came with two images: a blurry shot of a couple kissing on the sand, seen from behind, and a clear shot of Jada walking up a beach in an orange bikini top and pink bottoms, holding an orange towel.
My take: the caption does all the work here. “Is she not married to Will Smith? 💔” isn’t a report, it’s bait, and it worked. Nearly 1,500 people replied, and plenty of them asked X’s Grok whether it was real.
Are the Photos Real?
The solo shot is real, but old. She’s wearing long cornrow braids. Jada went public about her alopecia on Red Table Talk in 2018 and has kept her head shaved since 2021; it was her shaved head that Chris Rock joked about at the 2022 Oscars. The same beach, the same catamarans offshore and the same orange towel show up in a white-bikini surfboard set that another account posted on October 25 as “hair fully grown back,” which was another misread of an old photo. I couldn’t pin down the exact date or beach of that original paparazzi set, and I won’t guess. What I can tell you is it isn’t new, and it isn’t the Maldives.
The kiss shot proves nothing. It’s shot from behind, heavily blurred, and the swimsuit colors match the old solo photo. You can’t see either face, and nobody has named the man. Some replies called it AI and others said it was a different celebrity couple. I couldn’t confirm either claim, so I’m not naming anyone. Without a face, a source or a date, it isn’t evidence.
The location doesn’t fit. Behind the couple there are steep, jungle-green hills dropping to the water. The Maldives is famous for the opposite: flat, low coral islands and sandbanks.
The “TikTok creator in his 20s” doesn’t exist on the record. No name, no handle and no video from him. If a 20-something creator had really kissed Jada Pinkett Smith on camera, you would know his username by now.

I’m not quoting the “business trip” rant because there’s nothing showing he said it.
What’s Actually True About Jada and Will in 2026
- They’re separated, not divorced. In October 2023, promoting her memoir Worthy, Jada told People and NBC’s Today that she and Will had been separated since 2016 and lived separate lives. She has also said there will “never be a reason for us to get a divorce.”
- They still show up together. In January 2026 they were at Paris Men’s Fashion Week for Jaden’s debut as Christian Louboutin’s first men’s creative director. Page Six photographed them at Nobu Malibu in February and again on June 2, and E! News caught them walking arm in arm with Jaden in Paris on June 22.
- She turned 55 on September 18, 2026.
- Nothing reliable puts her in the Maldives this month, with anyone.
My take: their arrangement is the reason this kind of fake works. “Separated but married” leaves just enough room for people to believe anything, and accounts like this know it.

The replies split three ways. One crowd dragged her again over Alsina and the slap. A second group defended the couple’s arrangement as their own business. And a growing chunk simply asked whether it was real. XX’s Grok answered hundreds of those repliesrsquo;s Grok answered dozens of those replies, calling the poster a satirical account and the bikini shot an old photo. Copycat accounts reposted the same claim with “reportedly” added, which made it sound more official without adding a single fact.
My take: if a story only exists as a screenshot passed between gossip accounts, it isn’t a story yet. I’ll update this page the moment a real outlet, Jada or Will says anything.
