Beyoncé hasn’t been on the cover of i-D since 2006, and for the comeback she brought a fur stole, a pair of stilettos and more than 100 carats of diamonds. That’s the outfit. The British style magazine revealed its special Cécred edition on Monday, Oct. 26: Beyoncé, 45, holds a cream fur stole around her torso, wears sheer black tights and towering heels, and plants one of those heels on the cap of a Cécred bottle, Page Six reports. It celebrates her haircare brand’s move into the UK, and Pop Crave’s post of the cover passed 140,000 views within hours.
I’m Nico Grey. I make adult films for NicoGrey.com, I run Scandal Planet, and the rest of my week goes to investments, crypto and AI, so I know a sales pitch when I see one. This is the best one of the year. Here’s every detail on the cover, what’s in the zine and how to get one before they run out.
What happened
i-D posted the cover on Instagram and X on Monday with the line that Beyoncé “returns to i-D 20 years after her last cover to open up about her hair, her family, and her love for London.” It isn’t a regular issue. It’s a limited poster zine made with Cécred, the haircare line Beyoncé founded in 2024 with her mother, Tina Knowles, as vice chairwoman, i-D says. Inside, Beyoncé and Ms. Tina talk to writer Eni Subair about a lifetime of haircare.
So far i-D has released only a couple of images and one quote. The quote is pure Beyoncé: “I had a vision to build something that solved real problems and performed so incredibly that the people who can’t stand my music still use Cécred, haaaa! … because it works.”

i-D revealed the cover on its own Instagram and X accounts on Monday, Oct. 26, then posted a second image a few hours later. Page Six shared it too. These are the posts themselves, embedded from the accounts that published them.
NICO’S TAKEBeyoncé, you told i-D you’re the “founder, visionary, and sole investor — not the face” of Cécred. Then you put the face on the cover, wrapped yourself in one fur stole and stood on the product in stilettos. Darling, that’s the most glamorous “not the face” in business history, and I respect every one of those 108 carats.
I’ve sat in a lot of boardrooms. Nobody ever closed a UK expansion wearing less.
i-D, £16 and a limit of two per person? Charge triple. The Beyhive would still crash your checkout. And Jay, you got the Super Bowl the same day. Cute. Your wife got the internet. Want to see how bold Queen B has gone before? Her hub has the rest →

Page Six says she wears “nothing but fur, heels and jewels” on this cover. Her Scandal Planet hub collects her boldest stage, red carpet and photo-shoot moments in one place, and Kelly Rowland’s hub is one click away.
Look by look: what she wears on the cover
- The fur: a cream fur stole held around her torso, and nothing else on top.
- The legs: sheer black tights and pointed white stilettos.
- The heel trick: the tip of her heel is a copy of the cap on Cécred’s best-selling hair oil, a tiered white sculptural shape, The Zoe Report points out. Fans spotted it within minutes: “The shoe being the Cécred lid!”
- The choker: from Tiffany’s Blue Book 2024 high jewelry collection, inspired by Jean Schlumberger’s Apollo brooch. Page Six counts 10 Fancy Intense Yellow diamonds weighing more than 19 carats, set over more than 89 carats of round white diamonds. That’s 100-plus carats in the necklace alone.
- The rest of the jewelry: a matching bracelet, stacked rings including a pear-shaped fancy brown-pink diamond of more than 10 carats, and a nameplate necklace that reads “Cécred.”
- The hair: parted at the side and falling in damp-looking curls, done by her longtime stylist Neal Farinah with Cécred products.
The team, per i-D: photography by Blair Caldwell, color direction by Mason Poole, makeup by Francesca Tolot and styling by Shiona Turini.

How to get the zine
- What it is: an 8-page, double-sided A2 poster zine, so the photos are printed poster-size.
- Price: £16, tax included.
- Where: only from i-D’s own shop. It isn’t on newsstands.
- Limits: two per person, and the first 1,000 copies are hand-numbered.
- Shipping: worldwide from Nov. 10, 2026: about 5 business days to the UK, about 12 elsewhere.
Then and now: 2006 vs. 2026
Her last i-D cover, in August 2006, marked the release of B’Day: an embellished Prada dress (Page Six) and a slicked-back ponytail (The Zoe Report). Twenty years later the dress is gone, the hair is wet and loose, and the product placement is in the shoe.
Why London, why now
Cécred launched in the U.S. in February 2024, Rolling Out notes. On Sept. 22, 2026, Beyoncé made a surprise appearance at a Space NK store in London for its first launch outside the U.S., in a white corset dress, the Daily Mail reported. Cécred’s CEO Grace Ray called the UK “our second-largest market following the US.” UK prices run from £21 for the hair oil to £53 for the Edge Drops.

The same 24 hours Jay-Z got the Super Bowl
The timing is wild. On Monday night the NFL, Apple Music and Roc Nation announced that Jay-Z will headline the Super Bowl halftime show on Feb. 14 at SoFi Stadium, the Associated Press reports. Over the weekend the couple also partied in Las Vegas for 20 years of his Ace of Spades champagne, Beyoncé in a plunging green lace and feather dress, per the Daily Mail.
Some fans now read the cover as a hint that her next music era is close, The Zoe Report says. That’s fan speculation: Beyoncé hasn’t announced new music, and the i-D interview is about haircare.
It’s also the second “fur and heels” moment in a week. Days earlier, Kylie Jenner sold her Khy After Dark winter drop wearing a cropped faux-fur jacket, heels and nothing else. The difference: Beyoncé’s fur is a prop for a hair oil.
