I’ve been behind the camera since 2001 and dressed women for more than 2,000 scenes. I know what a wardrobe department does. And I have never seen an outfit do less work, on purpose, than the fishnet Alexa Demie wore to this Halloween party.
Alexa Demie showed up to Halloween in a see-through crystal fishnet catsuit, a black thong and not much else, wrapped herself around Hunter Schafer for the camera, and five years later the internet is zooming in all over again. On Oct. 31, 2026 the fan account @archivedemie reposted two photos of the Euphoria stars at a Halloween party in 2021. By Nov. 1 the post had passed 1.9 million views, 32,600 likes and 3,000 bookmarks (@archivedemie on X).
In the first shot, Maddy Perez herself has her arms around Hunter, her back and her fishnet-covered behind turned straight to the lens. In the second, she stands next to Hunter facing the camera, and that sheer mesh hides almost nothing above the thong. Add white opera gloves, pointed elf ears, a towering curly blonde wig and jewels on her eyelids, and you have the hottest look of that Halloween weekend. Fans first shared the photos on Oct. 31, 2021 (r/euphoria).

What Hunter Schafer wore
Hunter went full anime nerd. She was Maka Albarn, the scythe-wielding heroine of Soul Eater: black blazer, white shirt and striped tie, plaid skirt and her hair pulled back. She posted the look on Instagram on Oct. 30, 2021, and Teen Vogue put it on its list of the best celebrity costumes of the year, saying she “completely nailed it” (Instagram, Teen Vogue, Hobby Consolas).
Nobody has said exactly who Alexa was meant to be. Fans on Reddit said she was giving Dolly Parton vibes, with the elf ears thrown in. Either way, the outfit was the point (r/euphoria).
Nico’s take: that’s not a costume, that’s a dare
Let’s call it what it is. A crystal fishnet catsuit, a black thong underneath and nothing else between Alexa Demie and the camera. She basically went topless to a Halloween party with extra steps, and she did it standing next to the most photographed girl in the yard.
Look at shot one: arms around Hunter, back arched, that fishnet ass turned right at the lens. I’ve cast and shot women since 2001. That’s not an accident, that’s somebody who knows exactly where her best angle is and serves it. Shot two is the same energy facing forward: the Maddy pout, the mesh doing nothing, total control.
My bet: she loves that it’s going viral again. Five years later, 1.9 million people zooming in. That’s a performance that keeps paying.

One more thing from where I sit. Most actresses who play the bombshell on TV go home and hide in a hoodie. Alexa Demie went the other way: she took Maddy’s whole energy, the nails, the gaze, the “I know you’re looking”, and wore it to a backyard party with no director yelling cut. My take: that’s why fans still archive her like a pin-up.
Their scenes: Alexa Demie and Hunter Schafer in Euphoria Season 3
Euphoria Season 3 premiered April 12, 2026 on HBO and jumped five years past high school (WBD press release, Variety). Maddy is working her way into Hollywood and Jules is in art school. These are the clips from their hubs I’d start with:
