Here’s my take. The Star Trek fuss tells you everything about how the industry talks about women’s bodies. A writer apologised on her behalf, and nobody asked the woman who trained for it, read the script and said yes. When a performer prepares for a scene and enjoys shooting it, that’s not exploitation, that’s her call. On my sets the same rule applies: her choice, her body, her moment.
Her best scene isn’t the famous one. Belgravia is. Watch how relaxed she is in that bed, laughing at her lover: on a set, that ease is the hardest thing to fake, and she gives it freely.
Crossing Over is the opposite, and it’s meant to be. Those motel scenes show a man abusing his power, and I won’t sell them to you as hot. My bet: Alice Eve’s sexiest work is still ahead of her. Start with her Belgravia scene.

Who Is Alice Eve?
Alice Sophia Eve was educated at Bedales and Westminster School and studied English at the University of Oxford.
