I’ve been behind the camera since 2001 and shot more than 2,000 scenes, and I can tell you the hardest thing to fake on set is a wig. Bad wigs kill a shot in one second. So when JISOO showed up for Halloween 2026 in Lucy’s two-tone bob from Cyberpunk: Edgerunners and it looked like it grew out of her head, I paid attention. So did a million people on X.
JISOO’s Halloween costume in 2026 was Lucy, full name Lucyna Kushinada, the netrunner from Netflix’s anime Cyberpunk: Edgerunners. The BLACKPINK star posted the photos on her Instagram (@sooyaaa__) on Oct. 31 with a one-word caption, “루시” (“Lucy”), and a butterfly emoji (KapanLagi, Ilgan Sports). Her label account added a TikTok the same day where she dances to her new single “ADDICTED” in the full look (IDN Times). Pop Base‘s post of the photos passed 71,000 likes and 1.1 million views, and Pop Crave‘s added another 13,000 likes. Cosmopolitan put her in its 2026 celebrity Halloween roundup (Cosmopolitan).
What you see: a straight bob with blunt bangs, silver-white at the roots and melting into pink and teal at the ends, sharp anime eyeliner with red flicks, a glossy black bodysuit with a high red-trimmed collar, and a white cropped jacket slipped off her shoulders. Star News called the vibe “quite different from her usual pure and elegant image,” with “her dreamy gaze staring into the camera amid intersecting teal and pink lighting” (Star News).

This is the part fans lost it over. The official Cyberpunk: Edgerunners Instagram account (@edgerunners, verified) left two comments under her posts: a heart-eyes emoji and a GIF of the anime’s Lucy, mouth open in shock (screenshots shared by @KIMJISOOVT). One of her clips is set to “I Really Want to Stay at Your House” by Rosa Walton and Hallie Coggins, the song every Edgerunners fan cries to, per the same screenshots.

And then the gossip. Koreaboo reported that BTS’s Jungkook reposted an Instagram post about JISOO the same weekend, and K-pop X did what K-pop X does: shipping threads, dating theories, fan wars. Fans also pointed out he is a known Edgerunners fan. Rumor, not fact: nothing beyond the repost is confirmed, and neither of them has said a word about it.

Every other star this Halloween dressed as a sexy movie moment. JISOO dressed as an anime hacker, and she still ended up in the hottest-costume lists. That tells you everything about her.
Lucy isn’t a pin-up. She’s the girl who’s smarter than every man in the room, wants to run away to the moon and never tells you what she’s thinking. JISOO played it exactly like that: no big smile, cool stare, half-lidded eyes, jacket off one shoulder. That’s not a costume, that’s a character. On my sets I’d call that knowing your angle.
And the timing? “ADDICTED” dropped on Oct. 30, the costume landed on Oct. 31, and the TikTok had the song on it. My take: best-planned promo of the week, and the official show account did her marketing for free.

LISA went dark siren in a scaled tail and black makeup, and JENNIE went as Suki from 2 Fast 2 Furious in hot-pink leather chaps at Kendall Jenner’s Bar Marmont party.
