I’ve been behind the camera since 2001 and shot more than 2,000 scenes, so believe me when I say Halloween 2026 was the horniest week in Hollywood. String bikinis, ivy thongs, bondage cuffs, catsuits, a bathtub and a three-way kiss. I went through every real costume the press reported and ranked 100 of them.

Nico’s take: Hollywood dressed as its own fantasies
Scroll through all 100 and you see a pattern. The A-list didn’t dress as monsters. They dressed as other famous women at their sexiest: Halle Berry in a string top, Britney with the snake (twice), Natalie Portman’s stripper, Maggie Gyllenhaal in cuffs, Jessica Rabbit, Gisele in wings, Kelly Rowland in leather.
Here’s what I learned in 25 years on set. A costume is a promise. It tells the camera what’s coming off next. This year the stars skipped the promise. Elizabeth Hurley wore an ivy thong at 61 with her fiancé in a Batman suit. Stacey Solomon and Joe Swash stripped down for the Pretty Woman bath. Charli XCX turned up in restraints.
The gossip was in the couples. Kourtney and Travis as the Scarface couple. Leo with a wolf mask perched on his head while Vittoria wore the corset. Justin as the devil while Hailey wore the feather bra. And Alix Earle’s sister Ashtin with Travis Barker’s son Landon as Priscilla and Elvis. Matching costumes are the new soft launch.
The flop of the year was a fake: the viral Rihanna and A$AP Rocky Naruto photos. They look AI-made. I’ll take one real string bikini over a thousand fakes.
