One week after Candice Swanepoel walked the Victoria’s Secret runway in a jeweled white bra and silver wings, her name landed next to Tom Brady’s. Candice Swanepoel, 38, and the seven-time Super Bowl champion, 49, have been dating “for a while,” a source told Us Weekly in an exclusive on Saturday, Oct. 24. Neither of them has said a word about it, and their reps didn’t answer Page Six or the Daily Mail.

What happened
Us Weekly’s piece, by Miranda Siwak, rests on one unnamed insider, and that insider gave exactly one detail: the two have been together “for a while.” There’s no date, no place and no photo of them together. Page Six picked it up a few hours later, at 11:06 p.m. ET, and its post on X passed 328,000 views by Sunday afternoon in Bangkok. The Daily Mail followed on Sunday morning with the Victoria’s Secret angle: Tom’s ex-wife, Gisele Bündchen, was an Angel too.
The report, as it broke
Page Six and the Daily Mail both credited Us Weekly’s source, and neither got a reply from Tom’s or Candice’s reps.

What’s reported, and what’s only a tip
- Reported: the romance itself, by one source to Us Weekly. Page Six, the Daily Mail and everyone else are repeating that one source, so treat it as reported, not confirmed.
- On record from Tom: only that he has no time for dating. “I don’t have much time for a personal life or much time for myself, but I love working,” he told People in January, as Us Weekly and Page Six both quoted.
- Not reported anywhere: when they met, where they’ve been seen, or whether either of them follows the other. If a photo of the two of them exists, no outlet has run it yet.
The Joan Smalls rumor, separated from the facts
This story didn’t start on Saturday. The day before, fans noticed that Candice and Joan Smalls, friends for more than a decade, weren’t photographed together at the Oct. 18 Victoria’s Secret show and no longer seemed to follow each other on Instagram, OK! Magazine reported. Then an anonymous tip to the gossip account DeuxMoi claimed that Joan and Tom had dated on and off and that Candice got involved with him after it ended. Just Jared and OK! both call that tip unverified, and no outlet has confirmed that Joan ever dated Tom.
What Joan did do, on the record, was comment under Just Jared’s Instagram post on Oct. 23: “Two words: SUMMER HOUSE! That’ll explain everything.” That’s a nod to the Bravo show’s friend-dates-friend’s-ex storyline, and it’s the closest anyone involved has come to saying anything. Screenshots of other, deleted comments are going around too, but nobody has verified them, so we’re leaving them out.
Candice, Gisele and the Victoria’s Secret runway
The Gisele link is a headline writer’s dream, but the two never shared a VS runway. Gisele left her Victoria’s Secret contract in 2006, and Candice made her show debut a year later, the Daily Mail notes. Candice got her wings in 2010 and wore the $10 million Royal Fantasy Bra in 2013. On Oct. 18 she was back for the 2026 show in a jeweled white bra and matching bottoms with rhinestone body chains and silver wings, sharing the show with Bella Hadid and Kylie Jenner, per the Daily Mail, and with fellow veterans Adriana Lima and Alessandra Ambrosio.
Tom’s love life since 2022, by the reports
Tom and Gisele divorced in 2022. Since then, Page Six counts rumored links to Kim Kardashian, Irina Shayk, Brooks Nader, Sofía Vergara, Alix Earle and Yael Cohen, and he has confirmed none of them. The Alix Earle one went furthest: the two were seen getting close at a New Year’s Eve party on a yacht in St. Barts, and in September she said on her Netflix series that she was “having fun,” the Daily Mail reports. Gisele has since married jiu-jitsu instructor Joaquim Valente. Candice’s last public relationship, with Brazilian model Hermann Nicoli, ended in 2018, and she has kept her dating life private since.
